Below: 11 mm animal found 02-07-2018 Hanging Rock.
This species of Kabeiro, found at Shellacey Reef, lays its egg mass on its hydroid food, and the masses are not wound round the main axis of the hydroid in a spiral as they would be in aeolids. It’s also interesting that the adult remains in contact with the eggs while they are developing.

The above animals have lost most of their cerata, while the animals below are whole.
These two (above and below) 14 mm animals were found at Wait-a-while Mooloolaba Queensland Australia
On the hydroid they are extremely hard to see.
Note the (ventral view) way the foot attaches the animal to the stem of the hydroid.
It holds on very strongly!
