| Ceratosoma moloch Rudman, 1988 | |
| Location: Hanging Rock, Sunshine Coast, Mooloolaba, Queensland Australia Size: 27 mm Depth: 17 m Temperature: 23 C |
ORDER: NUDIBRANCHIA white purple |
| What a little charmer! At 25 mm, this Ceratosoma moloch is by far the smallest individual ever recorded. According to Marshal & Willan (1999: 89), C. moloch can reach a total length of 140 mm, with a corresponding mantle length of 90 mm. C. mioloch is the only ‘lumpy’ Ceratosoma in Australia, but juveniles like this look more spikey than lumpy. Richard Willan | |
